What to expect
NMS2017 will take place at our favorite venue STPLN in Malmö.
No More Sweden 2017 will be running from Friday June 9th to afternoonish on Sunday 11th of June. Per usual there’ll be a pre-jam hangout on Thursday night.
We’ll be at STPLN (see Getting there for map/directions), a nice big place with room for about 90 jammers. As usual we tend to fill up the venue, so only sign up if you’re sure you’re coming. Should your plans change, please let Martin know and he’ll give your spot to the next person in line. Also, make sure to read our Safer Space Policy.
You can find information about the sign up procedure on the announcement page.
18.00 Preparty at Malmö Brewing Company. We have the top floor to ourselves. This does not require a ticket.
11.00 Event opens, people can drop in.
13.00 Grand Opening Ceremony & Talks.

12.00 Jam ends. Submit your games!

~15.00 Winners are revealed, clean up
If you need to arrive late or leave early, that’s totally cool.
Eating. You will have to feed yourself, there’s a big ICA Maxi right next to the venue and a few restaurants. We’ll do a big barbecue in the evenings if the weather allows.
Power. Please bring a power strip big enough to cover your own use and at least one more.
Internet. There’s wifi at the venue. There may be a wired router too.
Sleeping. You can sleep at the venue. Note that you can only sleep there during the event, so not Thursday or Sunday night. There are a few mattresses, but bring your own sleeping gear to be sure.
Cooking. There’s a kitchen you can use as well as limited space in a fridge.
Swimwear. The venue is right near the ocean, if the weather is nice, you can totally pop over for a swim. There’s also a world class skate park next door.
Arriving on time. You are free to arrive/leave whenever you feel like, also just dropping by for a few hours is totally cool. If you just want to visit, there’s no need to sign up beforehand.
The venue, STPLN is not far from the central train station. It’s on bus lines 3 and 5 (you can plan trips using Google maps or this). If you’re flying in, the best airport is Copenhagens Kastrup. There’s a train from there to Malmö central station, it costs about 100SEK and should take just under 20 minutes. Malmö also has an airport, it’s way smaller and 40 minute bus ride away.
Sadly, there are no hostels that are nearby, but there’s a few spread out in Malmö.
Please poke us if you have any further questions!
